摘要: 可伸缩性视频编码(SVC)技术和运动补偿时间滤波(MCTF)技术分别是图像和视频处理及可伸缩视频编码领域的新的研究方向,近年来取得了很多成果。该文介绍了MCTF的有关概念以及相关实现方法,并在此基础上提出了一种改进的实现MCTF的方法。实验结果表明,在同样的压缩率下由改进的MCTF重构的图像比传统的MCTF重构的图像能取得更好的质量。

Abstract: Scalable video coding (SVC) technology is a new domain in the transaction of picture and video, and there are many products of SVC recently. Motion compensated temporal filter (MCTF) technology is a new research orientation in the video code domain and there are also many products in this field. This paper introduces the main concept of the MCTF and the correlative implementary method and presents a new method of implementing MCTF. The result of experiment indicates that the video images gained by the MCTF have better quality than the video images gained by the traditional MCTF in the same compression radio.
