摘要: 无线个域网(WPAN)是当前计算机网络发展最为迅速的领域之一。目前比较典型的无线个域网技术可分为5类:红外,家庭射频,蓝牙,超宽带和Zigbee。该文介绍了几种技术的主要特点及其相关标准和协议,并对这些技术的应用范围和市场发展前景作了分析和比较。

Abstract: Wireless personal area network (WPAN) is one of the most mushroom fields in current computer networks. At present typical WPAN technologies can be divided into five classes: IrDA, HomeRF, Bluetooth, Ultra-wideband and Zigbee. This paper introduces the characters and related standards/protocols of these technologies, the application areas and development prospects are analyzed and compared.
