摘要: 提出一种IP网络综合性能评估模型,结合网络健康度和路由器健康度的概念,通过测量收集网络基本性能数据,对网络作出整体评价。基于该模型开发了NHES系统,对中国移动CNGI示范网进行性能测量,实验数据很好地反映了CNGI的运行状况,为诊断网络性能问题提供了有用信息。

Abstract: This paper proposes a new model for evaluating IP networks’ synthetical performance. Combined with the concept of network health and router health, the model gives a collective evaluation on the network, which provides a different view of the network performance. Based on the model, a tool “NHES” is built to test the China Mobile CNGI Experimenting Network. Experimental results show that the model can evaluate the network performance effectively.
