一种改进的快速运动估计算法

摘要: 针对当前H.264/AVC典型快速运动估计算法缺少与其他编码特征相结合的情况,提出融合多参考帧选择和帧间模式判决的快速运动估计算法,综合考虑整数变换与量化、矢量预测、搜索范围、参考帧及其各个块模式之间的相关性。实验结果表明该算法在码率变化不大的条件下,可显著提高编码器的运算速度。

Abstract: Focusing on the typical fast motion estimation algorithms without consideration on other characteristics of H.264/AVC, this paper introduces an improved fast motion estimation algorithm. In this algorithm, integer transform and motion vector predictor, search range, reference frame and the relativity of coding block modes are thought together. Experimental results show that it can save more encoding time while maintaining coding efficiency.
