摘要: 在并行处理系统中,处理节点之间的通信开销是制约处理机性能提高的主要瓶颈。该文提出一种以TMS320C641X数字信号处理器为核心的并行处理系统,设计了PCI总线、串口和包交换网络等多种并行互联网络,使得输入、输出、控制等多种数据流分离,在适合的网络上传输,可以提高传输效率,实现高性能DSP与高性能互联系统的结合。

Abstract: The communication cost between the processing nodes in parallel processor is the performance bottleneck of the processor. This paper presents a parallel processing system using TMS320C641X DSPs as core processor based on multi interconnection networks of PCI bus, McBSP and the packets switching network. Data of input, output and control separately flow on different networks suitable for them. The transfer efficiency is improved. This design implements the combination of high performance DSPs and high performance interconnection system.
