Design of WSN Gateway for Water Environment Monitoring

摘要: 针对传统水环境监测存在周期长、水域范围有限的缺点,提出一种基于无线传感器网络的水环境监测系统,对其无线网关的软硬件系统进行设计。该网关采用ZigBee和GPRS无线传输技术,实现数据监测节点与远程监测中心的双向高效无线通信。实验结果表明,应用该网关的系统稳定可靠,可满足水环境远程实时监测的要求,具有广泛的应用前景。

Abstract: iming at the shortages of long monitoring cycle and limited monitoring scale in traditional water environment monitoring, this paper proposes a water environment monitoring system based on Wireless Sensor Network(WSN), and designs hardware and software system of its wireless gateway. This gateway uses ZigBee and GPRS wireless transmission technology, realizes data bidirectional communication between data monitoring nodes and remote monitoring center. Experimental results show that the system which applies this gateway is stably and reliably, it can well meet the need of remote real time water environment monitoring, it also has wide application prospect.
