基于串联质谱的快速肽段鉴定算法

Fast Peptide Identification Algorithm Based on Tandem Mass Spectrum

摘要: 在现有RT-PSM算法的基础上,完成蛋白质数据库酶切成肽段数据库的转换过程,提出有效峰提取的优化策略,设计一个肽段鉴定算法——FPI-PSM。对于没有翻译后修饰的情形,采用Keller数据集进行测试。与RT-PSM算法相比,FPI-PSM算法的灵敏度提高了5%,每个质谱的平均鉴定时间从13.6 ms下降到5.6 ms。

Abstract: Based on existing RT-PSM algorithm, this paper proposes a new peptide identification algorithm called FPI-PSM, which transforms the digestion of protein into peptide database and proposes an optimization strategy for effective peak extraction. Ignoring post-translational modification, it conducts tests on the recognized Keller dataset. Compared to RT-PSM, FPI-PSM improves the sensitivity by 5%, and decreases the average time of identifying each mass spectra from 13.6 ms to 5.6 ms.
