面向喷墨打印机的高速数据处理系统

摘要: 为提高工业喷墨打印机的打印速度,设计基于MPC8548E和Xilinx Virtex5的高速数据处理系统。MPC8548E处理器通过千兆网从PC端接收经编码的打印图案数据,对其进行解码并通过RapidIO传输给Virtex5。具有强大实时处理能力的Virtex5对图案数据进行处理,并将处理后的数据传输给喷头。性能测试结果表明,该系统的数据处理能力可达320 Mb/s,相比国内印花机,在同等条件下其性能提升明显。

Abstract: To increase the printing speed of digital inkjet printer, this paper presents a highspeed data processing system based on MPC8548E and Xilinx Virtex5. In this system, the MPC8548E processor decodes the received encoded printing design paper data which receives from PC port by Gigabit net and transfers it to Virtex5 through RapidIO. Virtex5 has strong ability of realtime processing to transfer the processed data to print heads. Performance test results show that the data processing ability of the system is up to 320 Mb/s, and it is much higher than civil decorating machine under the same condition.
