基于AVS1-P2的快速帧内预测算法

摘要: AVS1-P2标准参考软件rm52j的RDCost算法能很好地平衡视频编码质量和编码效率,但RDCost的计算复杂度大,占用了大量的编码时间。针对该问题,提出一种快速预测算法,利用帧内8×8亮度块亮度变化的方向性和邻块间预测模式的相关性进行帧内预测。实验证明,与全搜索算法相比,快速预测算法的编码时间平均节省了17%左右,且PSNR和比特率几乎不变。

Abstract: The reference soft rm52j for AVS1-P2 standard adopts RDCost algorithm to balance the coding quality and coding rate pretty well to achieve better efficiency, but it takes plenty of coding time because of high computational complexity. Aiming at this problem, a fast algorithm is proposed to reduce candidate prediction modes with increasing predication speed according to the directivity of luminance variation within a 8×8 block and the correlation of adjacent blocks. Experimental results show that the fast algorithm can save coding time by 17% on average with code rate increasing slightly and PSNR almost unchanged.
