基于新型聚焦矩阵的宽带信号DOA估计

DOA Estimation of Wideband Signal Based on Novel Focusing Matrix

摘要: 针对宽带信号波达方向(DOA)估计问题,分析聚焦变换的原理,提出一种基于阵列输出信号协方差矩阵的聚焦算法。通过对不同频率和聚焦频率下的输出信号协方差进行特征分解,分别求取其大特征值对应的特征向量。根据最佳聚焦矩阵的求解条件,求出聚焦矩阵的表达式。该方法无需进行方位角度预估计,可以处理相干宽带信号源的DOA估计问题。通过实验仿真和性能分析验证了该算法的有 效性。

Abstract: For the Direction of Arrival(DOA) estimation of wideband signals, by analyzing the focusing transformation process, a new focusing algorithm based on covariance matrix of array output signals is proposed. The new algorithm obtains the eigenvector for the larger eigen-value through eigen-decomposition of the covariance matrix of array output signals. Using the solution rules of optimal focusing matrix the express can be got. With simply removing correlation operation, the algorithm does not need preliminary DOA estimation and can process the coherent wideband signals. Computer simulations are conducted to show the better performance of the new algorithm.
