ERAM算法在瑞利衰落信道下的性能分析

Performance Analysis of ERAM Algorithm in Rayleigh Fading Channel

摘要: 针对RAM算法在瑞利衰落信道下误码率较高的问题,提出一种改进算法ERAM。该算法根据信道变化调整信噪比预测机制,依照误码率性能要求设置吞吐量表格初值,并使用ACK帧携带下一帧传输速率的信息,从而较快地响应信道的变化。在瑞利平衰落信道模型下的仿真结果表明,与RAM算法相比,该算法不仅能保持较好的吞吐量性能,而且能够有效降低误码率。

Abstract: For the poor Bit Error Ratio(BER) performances of Rate Adaptation in Mobile(RAM) environments algorithm in the Rayleigh fading channel, based on RAM, an improved rate adaptive algorithm, named Enhanced RAM(ERAM), is proposed. It adjusts Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR) forecasting mechanism according to the channel change, sets the throughput table initial value according to BER requirements, and uses the ACK frame to carry the next frame transmission rate, so the algorithm reacts to channel variations quickly. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm not only keep better throughput performance, but also can effectively improve the bit error rate performance in the rayleigh flat fading channel model.
