基于视觉显著性的区域导向图像序列插值

Region-guided Interpolation for Image Sequences Based on Visual Saliency

摘要: 为解决已有图像序列插值方法存在的插值图像细节模糊问题,提出一种区域导向图像序列插值算法。根据图像序列的时空特性,设计关注区域计算方法。构建基于区域的插值模式,有效地保持原始图像序列的局部细节,实现关注区域的高质量插值放大。给出基于引导滤波的关注区域细节增强方法,进一步提升关注区域的清晰度,获得符合视觉感知的高分辨率图像序列。实验结果表明,与图像签名检测算法和全局对比检测算法相比,该算法在不同插值倍数下都取得了更好的视觉效果和更高的客观评价指标值。

Abstract: Aiming at solving the problem of blurry details in the image sequence interpolation methods,this paper proposes a region-guided interpolation algorithm.The attention region calculation method is proposed according to the space and temporal characteristics of image sequences.The region interpolation mode is constructed and the details of the original image sequence can be maintained,so as to achieve high quality interpolation for the obtained attention regions.The detail enhancement method based on guide filter is proposed and it can improve further the definitions of attention regions,so the high resolution image sequences in accord with visual perception can be acquired.Experimental results show that,in the cases of different interpolation factors,compared with image signature detection algorithm and global contrast detection algorithm,the proposed algorithm achieves better visual effects and higher objective index values.
