TOA Localization Algorithm Based on Virtual Sensor in Indoor Environment

摘要: 室内条件下无线信号传输普遍存在非视距和多径问题,影响定位精度,特别是对基于波达时间(TOA)的几何定位方法影响更加严重。为解决上述问题,提出一种虚拟传感器两步加权最小二乘算法。在室内布局已知的条件下,利用虚拟传感器建立包括信号直射、反射、绕射和透 射的TOA几何模型,针对每一种可能的信号传播情况进行位置估计,根据几何原理设立约束条件,确定目标位置。仿真结果表明,随着非视距程度的加剧,在视距条件下提出的算法精度明显优于其他非视距算法。

Abstract: In indoor environment,Non-Line-of-Sight(NLOS) and multipath propagation of wireless signals dramatically affect the accuracy of the localization algorithms especially the geometric localization approaches based on Time-of-Arrival(TOA).To solve the above problem,a Two-Step-Weighted-Least-Square(TSWLS) of Virtual Sensor(VS) algorithm is proposed.With the known floor plan,a TOA model is built based on the VS considering direct path,reflection path,diffraction path and penetration path.The TSWLS-VS algorithm is utilized to estimate every possible position for every propagation condition.The target location is decided according to certain constrains based on geometric principles.Simulation results demonstrate that as the NLOS conditions become more extreme,the proposed method has better accuracy than others.
