Study on Queueing System Performance of Best Effort Service in Broad Band Integrated Service Network

摘要: 对多速率实时业务优先情况下系统用剩余信道处理尽力而为业务的情况进行研究,提出了一种计算在此种情况下尽力而为业务平均延时和平均处理时间的模型。并对用可变剩余容量处理尽力而为业务的情况进行了仿真,将仿真结果和新模型所得到的结果进行比较,发现新模型是可行的。为计算可变容量系统中数据业务的平均处理时间和平均延时提供了一种可靠的方法。

Abstract: Through study on using leisure channels to process best effort service in multi-service system, a new model to compute best effort service’s average delay and average processing time in the system is proposed. And the best effort service’s average delay and average processing time is simulated and the results are compared with the data computed in the new model. The differences between them are so small that the new model is feasible and reliable. A new and reliable method is provided for computing best effort service’s average delay and average processing time in the varying capacity communication system.
