基于负载特征的虚拟机迁移调度策略

Virtual Machine Migration Scheduling Strategy Based on Load Characteristic

摘要: 为提高虚拟机迁移时的资源利用率及服务可用性,提出一种基于负载特征的虚拟机迁移调度策略。针对节点的触发类型和虚拟机的负载特征,采用多阈值方式触发迁移,完成对拟迁移的虚拟机以及迁移目标节点的选择。实验结果表明,该策略能够实现虚拟机迁移的自主管理,并能提升资源的使用效率,具有较好的自适应性。

Abstract: In order to enhance the resources utilization and services availability of virtual machines migration, a virtual machine migration schedule strategy based on load characteristic is proposed. Aiming at the trigger types of nodes and the load characteristics of virtual machines, using multi-threshold mode to trigger the migration, the virtual machine to be migrated is selected and the destination node is positioned. Experimental results show that, the strategy can realise the self-managed of virtual machine migration. The utilization efficiency of resources can be significantly enhanced. The strategy has good adaptivity.
