摘要: 提出一种基于二维经验模态分解(BEMD)的Canny算子边缘检测算法,通过BEMD将图像分解成多层本征模函数,利用Canny算子对各分量进行边缘检测,并有选择地逐层重构出图像边缘,在灰度图像集中进行测试。实验结果表明,与传统算法相比,该算法能够获得较好的检测性能。

Abstract: A Canny operator edge detection algorithm based on Bidimensional Empirical Mode Decomposition(BEMD) is proposed, which divides the images into Intrinsic Mode Function(IMF) by using BEMD. The edge detection is conducted to components with Canny operator. The image edge is rebuilt layer by layer selectively. It is tested on gray image sets. Experimental results show this algorithm can obtain better detection performance compared with traditional ones.
