摘要: Zigbee技术采用IEEE802.15.4 数据链路层和物理层协议,但它不支持分组功能,传输层中需要的分组和重组功能只能在应用层执行。为了测试Zigbee网络的图像传输状况,该文建立一个支持多跳协议的传感器网络平台,测试单跳和双跳情况下JPEG,JPEG-2000和矩形块_零树编码格式图像的传输,给出实验结果并对统计数据进行了讨论。

Abstract: Zigbee uses IEEE 802.15.4 MAC and PHY layers. Transport layer functionalities such as fragmentation and reassembly are performed at the application layer, since Zigbee does not have a fragmentation support. In order to test transmission of images over Zigbee networks, this paper develops a sensor platform that supports multi-hopping. It tests the JPEG, JPEG-2000 and block-zerotree coding images under several conditions. It presents the experimental result and discusses the resulting statistics.
