摘要: 作为拓展人类合作空间的辅助工具,CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperative Work)系统不但要利用计算机提供类似于面对面的协同环境,而且应该能够提供面对面协同环境所不能给予的工具。角色机制就是一种能够解决这个问题的好方法,它通过改变、转换处于协作活动中用户的身份和职位来更好地支持高效的协同工作。该文联系对象和角色思想, 讨论协同活动中的角色动态转换的实现。在角色机制的帮助下,用户将能够更灵活、更高效率地参与协同活动。

Abstract: As a tool of expanding the human collaboration space, CSCW (computer supported cooperative work) systems should not only provide virtual face-to-face collaborative environments but also improve face-to-face collaboration by providing more mechanisms to overcome the drawbacks of face-to-face collaboration. Roles are one of the effective ways of solving this problem, because roles can help users specify clearly their responsibilities and rights, dynamically change and transfer their positions to improve the efficiency of people’s collaboration. This paper introduces the basic concepts and principles of roles, discusses the architecture of role-based collaborative systems, and mainly demonstrates the implementation of the role transition in collaboration.
