摘要: 针对十字形正交幅度调制(QAM)信号的符号错误率计算问题,提出一种通用的计算方法。根据十字形星座图的特点,采用基于判决门限的区域划分方法进行符号错误率计算,给出高斯白噪声信道和瑞利衰落信道下通用的十字形QAM的符号错误率的理论边界。分析和仿真结果表明,给出的符号错误率为十字形QAM的误码率评估提供了一个准确的参考。

Abstract: A method of Symbol Error Ratio(SER) computation for cross Quadrature Amplitude Modulation(QAM) signals is given. The constellation is divided into different regions based on decision boundaries according to the characteristics of cross QAM. The general theoretical bounds of SER for the cross QAM signals over Additive White Gaussian Noise(AWGN) channel and Rayleigh fading channel are given. Analysis and simulation results demonstrate that the theoretical bound offers an accurate criterion for SER of cross QAM.
