摘要: 随机早期检测(RED)队列管理算法的参数设置主要依赖于使用者的经验,并且其相关理论指导存在一定缺陷。为此,提出一种全面设置RED参数的方法。采用数学期望方法,分析TCP/RED拥塞控制机制离散模型的稳定状态行为,推导网络稳定状态期望值与RED参数的解析关系式。仿真结果表明,该方法可以提供准确有效的RED参数设置。

Abstract: The parameter setting for Random Early Detection(RED) queue management algorithm depends on the user’s experience and its related theoretical guidance exists some defects at present. A comprehensive analytical method is proposed to set the RED parameters. Through adopting mathematical expectation method, steady-state behavior of discrete model of the TCP/RED congestion control mechanism is analysed, and the relationship between the network in the steady-state expectations and RED parameters are derived. Simulation results show that the method can provide an accurate and efficient method of RED parameter setting.
