摘要: 为降低视频图像帧内预测的复杂度,提出一种快速的帧内预测模式选择算法。根据图像的自身特征和预测模式的统计特征,参考DC模式提前终止算法和像素快速选择算法中的阈值判断准则,结合8种帧内预测模式中最优模式和次优模式的方向相关性,进一步减少预测的计算量。实验结果表明,该算法能降低30%~45%的帧内预测计算量,同时保持视频的图像质量基本不变。

Abstract: To reduce the complexity of intra prediction, a fast intra prediction mode selection algorithm is proposed. Based on the image itself and the statistical characteristics of prediction mode and two threshold judged in early termination through the mode 2(DC) and reference pixel quick selection method, this paper combines with eight kinds of intra prediction mode in the optimal mode and sub-optimal patterns of correlation, further reduces the computational prediction. Experimental results show that the algorithm can reduce 30%~45% of the intra prediction computation, while maintaining the video’s image quality is almost unchanged.
