基于软判决的PN码序列多项式估计改进算法

Improved Polynomial Estimation Algorithm for PN Code Sequence Based on Soft Decision

摘要: 针对现有伪噪声(PN)码序列多项式估计算法容错能力有限的问题,提出一种将统计预处理和软判决求解含错方程相结合的多项式估计改进算法。该算法利用PN码序列的周期特性,通过增加统计预处理环节降低序列的误码率,采用软判决求解含错方程的方法,实现低信噪比条件下PN码序列生成多项式的正确估计。仿真结果表明,改进算法具有较好的容错性能,在信噪比为 –9 dB时其估计正确率可达90%以上,且与传统多项式估计算法相比信噪比增益至少为6 dB。

Abstract: Aiming at the limited capacity for error tolerance of current polynomial estimation methods for Pseudo Noise(PN) code sequence, an improved polynomial estimation algorithm combining the statistical preprocessing and error-containing equations solving through soft decision is proposed. The algorithm utilizes the period property of PN code, and reduces the bit error rate by adding statistical preprocessing. Then, the generating polynomial of PN code is estimated by solving the error equations through soft decision. Simulation results demonstrate that the improved algorithm performs well in error tolerance, and the correct rate of estimation can reach above 90% when the Signal Noise Ratio(SNR) is –9 dB. Compared with the traditional algorithms, the SNR gain can reach at least 6 dB.
