液晶显示屏色温实时修正的现场可编程门阵列实现

Field Programmable Gate Array Implementation of Liquid Crystal Display Color Temperature Real-time Correction

摘要: 色温修正是液晶显示屏(LCD)色彩校正系统的重要部分,直接影响最终的显示质量和用户的观赏体验。为改善LCD的显示效果,设计一种基于RGB颜色空间的LCD色温实时修正方案,并给出基于亮度的参考白点估计方法,简化对于参考白点的选取。采用DDR3 SDRAM作为帧缓存实现本帧增益,校正本帧数据,提高校正的准确性。通过Xilinx公司以XC7K325T-2FFG900为核心芯片的Kintex7 FPGA开发板进行验证,结果表明,该方案在FPGA内部实现对视频数据色温修正的处理,采用查找表的方式存储用户预设的色温,降低了计算复杂度。

Abstract: The correction of color temperature is an important part of Liquid Crystal Display(LCD) color correction system,which directly affects the final display quality and the user watching experience.A scheme of LCD color temperature real-time correction based on RGB color space is researched and designed,in order to improve the LCD display and cater to the current trend of high definition video development.Compared with the traditional implementation methods,this paper proposes a reference white point estimation method based on luminance in the proposed scheme,which simplifies the selection of the reference white point.To improve the accuracy of correction,DDR3 SDRAM is used as frame buffer to realize frame to gain correction of own frame data.This paper verifies the development board Kintex7 Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) which is the core chip of XC7K325T-2FFG900 made by company Xilinx,and result shows that the scheme corrects the color temperature of video data within the FPGA and restores the user preset color temperature by the method of look-up table to further reduce the complexity of the calculation,and it is feasible.
