摘要: USB3.0可满足高速外设对总线带宽及传输速率的需求,已广泛应用于高速外设。而USB3.0控制器验证已成为片上系统功能验证的重要组成部分。为此,在分析USB3.0验证知识产权(VIP)结构的基础上,研究VIP协议栈及其可配置与可扩展设计,从协议层、链路层、物理层、配置参数类、callback类5个方面展开。与定向测试法相比,该协议栈在大规模功能验证中可有效提高验证效率。

Abstract: Because USB3.0 can satisfy the demand of high-speed peripheral for the bus bandwidth and transmission rate,USB3.0 interface is widely used in high-speed peripheral.The verification of the USB3.0 controller becomes an important part of the function verification of System on Chip(SoC).On the basis of analyzing the structure of USB3.0 Verification Intellectual Property(VIP),this paper mainly studies the VIP protocol stack and configurable and extensible design of it,mainly including protocol layer,link layer,physical layer,configuration class and callback class.Compared with the directional test method,the proposed protocol stack can greatly improve the efficiency of large-scale functional verification.
