基于细菌觅食优化算法的多色彩空间嘴唇分割

Lip Segmentation in Multi-color Space Based on Bacterial Foraging Optimization Algorithm

摘要: 结合多色彩空间处理、细菌觅食优化算法(BFOA)与关键点定位算法,提出一种新的嘴唇轮廓提取算法。对嘴唇图像进行色彩空间的转换,在不同的色彩空间对嘴唇图像进行色彩增强及色彩分割处理,利用BFOA结合Kapur最大熵阈值法对嘴唇区域图像求取最佳阈值,实现唇部精确分割。提取嘴唇的边缘关键点,并以提取到的关键点为输入,运用最小二乘曲线拟合的方法拟合嘴唇边缘轮廓,准确提取嘴唇的外部轮廓。实验结果表明,该方法能够完成对嘴唇的精确分割,并获得较高的分割准确率。

Abstract: This paper proposes a lip contour extraction algorithm based on a multi-color space processing,Bacterial Foraging Optimization Algorithm(BFOA) and key endpoints localization methods.The color space conversion is applied for the lip image,color enhancement and color segmentation is used in different color space over the lip image.The method of BFOA combined with Kapur maximum entropy threshold method are applied to obtain the best threshold of the lip region,achieving accurate lip segmentation.An adaptive binarization is performed to the resulted image to extract key points along the lip edge.Using the key points as inputs,it fits the lip edge contour based on the least square criterion and extracts outer contour of the lip precisely.Experimental result shows the strong lip segmentation robustness and higher recognition accuracy of the proposed method.
