Research on Coverage Performance for Heterogeneous Network Based on Cell Split Scheme

摘要:

为保证移动用户的通信质量,同时提高网络覆盖性能,提出一种异构网络(HetNet)小区分割方案,把宏小区用户(MU)区分为小区中心用户(CCU)和小区边缘用户(CEU)。将可用频带划分为小区中心区域(CCR)频带和小区边缘区域(CER)频带。CCR频带由CCU和毫微微小区用户共享 ,而CER频带由端到端用户和CEU共享。通过将网络元素建模为独立泊松点过程,借助随机几何方法,给出MU分类及随机频谱接入方案。实验结果表明,采用小区分割方案不仅可以减轻用户干扰,而且可以有效增强CCU和CEU的覆盖性能,对HetNet设计具有指导意义。

Abstract:

In order to guard the communication quality of mobile users and simultaneously improve the coverage performance of network,a cell split scheme for Heterogeneous Network(HetNet) is proposed,the Macrocell User (MU) is split into Cell Center User(CCU) and Cell Edge User(CEU).The available spectral bands are divided into Cell Center Region(CCR) band and Cell Edge Region(CER) band.The CCR band is shared by CCU and Femtocell User(FU),and the CER band is shared by Device-to-Device(D2D) users and CEU.By modeling the network elements as independent Poisson point process and using stochastic geometry method,the classification of MU and random spectrum access policy are introduced.Experimental results show that using the presented cell split strategy cannot only decrease the user interference but also enhance the coverage performance of CCU and CEU.The proposed scheme can guide for the design of HetNet.
