Abstract:
In order to evaluate the menu selection performance of an interactive system quickly for researchers, a model is derived based on Fitts’ law and Steering law. An experiment is executed to test its’ validity. There are two phases in the experiment. The goal of the first phase experiment is to calculate coefficients of the model. They can be applied to the data analysis of the second phase experiment. The goal of the second phase experiment is to test the validity of the model. Experimental results indicate that the predicted selection performance with the model coincides with the observed selection performance in the experiment very well and the relativity between is 0.959.

摘要: 为使研究人员能快速对交互系统的菜单设计进行评估,基于Fitts’定律和操纵定律,提出一个预测菜单点击绩效的模型,并用实验验证该模型的有效性。实验分为2个阶段,第1阶段计算模型中的系数值,第2阶段利用该系数值进行实验数据分析。实验结果表明,该模型预测得到的绩效数据与实验测试得到的绩效数据非常接近,两者相关性为0.959,可见其是有效的。
