摘要: IEEE 802.16e标准采用睡眠模式降低移动台的能量消耗。提出一种改进的睡眠模式控制算法,该算法根据接入速率的变化动态调整睡眠模式的睡眠周期。在给出的4种实际模型上比较IEEE 802.16e标准算法与改进算法,结果表明改进算法在低接入速率下能节约更多能量,在高接入速率下与标准算法的性能相当。

Abstract: The IEEE 802.16e standard adopts sleep mode to save the energy consumption of the mobile station. This paper proposes an improved sleep mode control algorithm, which dynamically adjusts the sleep period of sleep mode according to the access speed. It compares the IEEE 802.16e standard algorithm and the improved algorithm under four actual models, and the results show that the improved algorithm mode saves substantial amount of energy at low access speed and has the same performance as the standard algorithm at high access speed.
