摘要： 讨论了桌面管理接口(DMI)体系结构的特点，阐述了DMI与SNMP两大管理标准体系结构之间的差异，引入了分布式代理的概念，提出了DMI-SNMP转换代理模型，并对该模型进行了讨论和分析。

Abstract: This paper discusses the characteristic of desktop management interface(DMI) architecture, and elaborates the difference between two big management standards architecture (DMI and SNMP), introduces the concept of distributed agent, then proposes the DMI-SNMP Conversion agent model, and carries out the detailed discussion and analysis to this model.
