Application on UWB Technology in Industrial Control System

摘要: 鉴于现有无线技术在工业环境中的通信质量差等问题,将超带宽(UWB)技术引入到工业控制网络中。在分析了工业环境特点和总结了UWB无线技术优势的基础上,提出了基于UWB技术的工业无线控制系统,给出了符合EPA和FF两大现场总线标准的UWB无线扩展方案,对符合FF标准的方案进行了测试。实验证明,系统运行效果良好,达到了预期目标。

Abstract: Owing to the performance problems of the wireless technique in industry environment, this paper introduces Ultra Wideband(UWB) technique in industrial control network. Based on analyzing the characteristics of industrial environment and summarizing the advantages of UWB technique, the application in industrial control system with UWB is proposed. The method of extending UWB according to Ethernet for Plant Automation(EPA) and Foundation Fieldbus(FF) is designed, and the project based on FF is evaluated. Simple testing shows that the system works orderly and achieves anticipative aim.
