摘要: 子网技术的多样化增加了网络层协议对硬件组播的访问复杂度,该文以多协议组播适配层(MAPs)的方式对硬件组播技术进行抽象,以减少上层协议对底层的假设。总结了各类硬件组播的实现方式,给出了MAPs的基本思想、服务类型及核心操作。实验证明了该框架的有效性。

Abstract: The rapid growth of hardware multicast technologies introduces complexities to IP layer protocols. This paper proposes a convergence sub-layer named Multicast Adaptation Protocols(MAPs) to abstract hardware multicast technology and reduces consumption of upper protocol to bottom protocol, summarizes most of the existing link layer multicast methods, and gives basic ideal of MAPs, service types, and core operation. Experimental results show that the framework is effective.
