Distributed Resource Network Design and Communication Mechanism in Distant Education

摘要: 远程教育是互联网中的重要应用,分布式的资源组织模式与大范围的教育受众覆盖是部署实施的关键。该文通过分布式资源网以实现资源共享,给出资源发布的通信过程和方法,研究了提高资源同步效率的端系统组播机制,设计了兼容IPv4和IPv6的 IPDVB传输系统,用来满足向卫星接收终端用户递送资源的需求。

Abstract: Distant education is an important and popular application for Internet. Distributed resource management and its communication mechanism for resource distribution are of great significance for wide deployment. A heterogeneous distributed resource network composed of terrestrial links and satellite channels is proposed to achieve resource management and distribution. Procedure of resource release is analyzed and a general model is given. End-system multicast method is presented to enhance the efficiency of resource synchronization. IPv4/IPv6 over DVB transmission system is designed for delivering resource to countryside users.
