SIP信令压缩的研究

摘要: 分析会话发起协议在移动通信应用中存在的问题,指出对其信令消息进行压缩的重要性。针对单一压缩算法在对会话发起协议的信令消息压缩方面的不足,将Deflate算法以不同形式与其他算法相结合。仿真结果表明,新方案的使用改善了压缩效果,压缩率达70%以上。

Abstract: By analyzing the problems while implementing SIP in mobile communication system, necessity of Signaling Compression(SigComp) is indicated. Since single algorithm can not effectively compress SIP signaling message, some solutions that can improve compression performance are proposed, including combining Deflate with other schemes, and combining other schemes with Deflate decomposed. Simulation results illustrate that the impact of compression is significantly improved with the solutions, and compression rate is up to 70%.
