Abstract: To investigate the location accuracy of Tracking Tags near the Boundary of Detection Area(TTBDA) in Location iDentification based on Dynamic Active RFID Calibration(LANDMARC) being restricted by the number of reference tags, an optimized ranging location algorithm is proposed. By introducing the weighted factor, the algorithm regulates the Euclidean distance between the reference tags and the tracking tags, rectifies the received signal strength indication values’ credibility on each reader on the basis of the distance-loss model. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves a higher accuracy and better environmental suitability towards Tracking Tags near the Boundary of Detection Area(TTBDA) compared with LANDMARC.
