Approach for Reducing Network Delay of 3G Streaming Media

摘要: 针对第三代移动通信系统流媒体存在网络延迟的问题,提出一种流媒体播放的调度策略。该策略采用最近最少使用页面算法对流媒体文件进行内存管理,采用小文件的先来先服务和大文件的时间片轮转服务的方法进行发送调度。实验证明该方法能有效地减少访问量较大时用户请求的响应时间。

Abstract: According to the problem of the 3rd Generation mobile systems(3G) streaming media network delay, this paper puts forward a streaming media schedule strategy, which uses Least Recently Used(LRU) algorithm to manage the internal memory and adopts the strategy that first come first served for small files and the time slice circular for large files to send the files reasonably. It is proved by practice that the method can effectively reduce the response time when the visit quantity is large.
