图像增强下的视频转码模式决策算法

Mode Decision Algorithm for Video Transcoding with Image Enhancement

摘要: 针对低光照视频在进行图像质量增强后的转码工作进行研究,提出一种快速模式选择算法。在低光照视频可见度低的情况下,使用带色彩恢复的多尺度Retinex算法进行视频质量增强。对解码得到的原始宏块模式分析其内部纹理变化,实现编码模式快速选择,并采取运动区域判断等方法对原始模式为SKIP的宏块进行模式判断。实验结果表明,与全解全编的转码算法相比,该算法不仅能大幅减少计算复杂度,节省约70%的转码时间,而且率失真性能未出现明显下降。

Abstract: Through the research on the transcoding with enhancement for the low light videos,a fast mode decision algorithm is proposed.Aiming at the unclear visibility of the low light videos,it uses the Multi-scale Retinex with Color Restoration (MSRCR) algorithm to enhance the video’s quality.The proposed algorithm can speed up the mode selection by using the decoded original mode types,and analyzes its internal texture variation to quickly select the encode mode.In addition,it uses the motion region detection technology to judge the original SKIP mode.Simulation results indicate that this algorithm not only can save nearly 70% of transcoding time by reducing the computational complexity,but also can have no noticeable loss of the rate-distortion performance,compared with the cascaded decoder-encoder algorithm.
