摘要: 介绍了地学虚拟博物馆的开发过程,对物体的几何建模、纹理映射、交互行为设计等关键技术进行了阐述,并探讨了如何减小VRML文件、提高VRML文件的渲染速度以优化系统性能,在网上构建了一个逼真的三维虚拟博物馆。

Abstract: This paper introduces the development of virtual Geology museum, describes some of the techniques in its implementation, such as geometry model, texture mapping and behavior model, and discusses the method how to optimize VRML file and reduce romance of the system VRML file. At last, a vivid virtual three-dimension museum is constructed on Web.
