摘要: 通过改变训练符号的结构和选择特殊的训练序列,提出一种改进的粗定时同步方法,将其应用于不同场景的航空信道下的SC-FDE系统。仿真结果表明,在复杂多变的航空信道环境下,该方法解决了传统粗定时同步算法Schmidl & Cox存在的定时测度峰值平台问题,定时估计误差均值趋向于0,取得了较好的定时效果和定时精度。

Abstract: This paper proposes an improved coarse timing synchronization method by altering the structure of training symbols and selecting special training sequences. The improved coarse synchronization algorithm is applied to Single Carrier Frequency Domain Equalization(SC-FDE) system in aeronautical channel of different scenarios. Simulation results show that the proposed method solves the problem about the plateau of timing metric in traditional coarse synchronization algorithm——Schmidl & Cox algorithm, and the mean of timing estimation offset is close to zero. This method gains better effect and accuracy of timing synchronization.
