以太网无源光网络自愈环状保护结构

Self-healing Ring Protection Architecture of EPON

摘要: 提出一种适用于以太网无源光网络的双环冗余结构,为光线路终端、光网络单元及光纤链路提供保护,并给出接口设计、故障容错及恢复机理。与其他保护机制的对比结果表明,该双环冗余结构对于主干光纤故障,恢复时间仅为TU-T结构的45.01%、SRA结构的14.67%。

Abstract: A double-ring optical protection architecture is constructed for Ethernet Passive Optical Networks(EPON) architecture, the Optical Line Terminal(OLT), the Optical Network Unit(ONU) and all fiber links are protected by this architecture, the node-architecture, the fault-tolerant and the restoring mechanism are explained. The compared results show that, when the backbone fiber are failed, the resume time of this architecture is only 45.01 percent of ITU-T and 14.67 percent of SRA.
