摘要: 针对传统分形图像编码方法编码时间较长的问题,提出一种基于字典的快速分形图像编码方法。利用Julia分形集通过较少参数即能产生丰富图像的特点,将其做成压缩字典,对任意图像均可在字典内查找到合适的定义域块。实验结果表明,在保证编码效果的前提下,该方法可以提高编码速度,尤其对于大尺寸图像,提升幅度更为明显。

Abstract: The encoding time of traditional fractal image coding method is too long. Aiming at this problem, this paper proposes a novel image coding method based on dictionary. The Julia sets can produce abundant images with fewer parameters. Therefore they are utilized to produce the coding dictionary and each image can find the suitable domain block in the dictionary. Experimental results show that the method can improve the coding efficiency significantly in the premise of not reducing the coding quality obviously, especially for the large images.
