Abstract: The high level architecture(HLA) is a framework facilitating the development of distributed simulations. Recently, much research and development has centered on addressing the shortcomings of the HLA. Using Web services to extend HLA simulation system can solve current problems and improve the interoperability of the system. The paper describes the benefits of using Web services. The methods for using Web services to extend HLA simulation system are given.

摘要: Web服务置于开放的标准技术之上,不受任何操作系统和编程语言的约束,能够允许不同平台的应用程序之间通过Internet进行通信和交换数据。利用Web服务扩展HLA仿真系统可以解决HLA存在的诸多问题,进一步提高HLA的互操作性,阐述了为什么要将Web服务引入HLA仿真系统,分析了利用Web服务扩展HLA仿真系统的几种途径。
