Abstract:
With additional hardware and software integration, this paper presents a new desktop application system based on high performance embedded hardware. The multi-platform feature of Linux makes the integration process easy. The system reforms the architecture of conventional desktop system. A small, light and low power embedded system is combined with generic and open feature of desktop application. Results show that this is an effective solution to improve the usability of the original embedded system, and meet the special needs of desktop application in industry.

摘要: 在原有高性能嵌入式硬件基础上,通过硬件扩展和软硬件集成,构建了一个符合桌面应用需求的新系统。在该系统上运用的诸多Linux操作系统跨平台特性,简化了整个改造过程。该系统突破了传统桌面应用系统的体系架构,融合嵌入式系统体积小、重量轻、功耗低和桌面系统通用、开放的特点。结果表明,该方案提高了原有硬件的通用性,并能有效满足工业领域对于桌面应用的特殊需要。
