真实感羽毛的构造与实现

Abstract: This paper presents a novel method to model two-dimensional feather with a collection of Hermite curves, which makes rending of feathers be more convenient based on vector characteristic of Hermite curves. By the variation of some parameters, all sorts of feathers can be generated automatically. In order to improve the reality of feather, it supplies the barbs with texture. On the basis of two-dimensional feather, a three-dimensional feather model is constructed according to its structural characteristics. The method is as easy and clear as two-dimensional feather.

摘要: 提出一种用Hermite曲线集模拟二维羽毛的新方法。利用Hermite曲线的矢量特性使羽毛绘制更加方便,通过几个参数的改变就能自动生成各种样式的羽毛。为了增加羽毛的真实感,在羽枝上添加纹理。在二维羽毛的基础上,根据三维羽毛的结构特点,构造出其模型,其使用方法与二维羽毛一样简单明了。
