控制端到端传输延迟抖动的改进TFRC算法

Abstract:

TFRC is a well-known rate-based TCP-friendly congestion control mechanism. In this work, an improved algorithm of TFRC, denoted by TFRC-CJUTD, is introduced, in order to meet the requirement of end-to-end real-time stream for network transport. Within this improved algorithm, jitters of unidirectional transport delay are proposed to be used as a feedback signal in the control mechanism in order to effectively reduce the jitters of unidirectional transport delay in course of stream transport, so that the control mechanism can better adapt to real-time stream. Remarkable improvement of this new algorithm is verified through simulations on NS.

摘要: 针对端到端实时通信业务对于网络传输的要求,提出基于速率控制的TCP友好性拥塞控制策略(TFRC)的一种改进算法——TFRC-CJUTD算法。该算法将单向传输延迟的抖动作为反馈信号来改进控制机制,降低业务传输过程中的单向传输延迟抖动,更好地适应实时业务。通过NS仿真验证,该算法取得较好的效果。
