Eyes State Detection Method in Fatigue State Surveillance System

疲劳状态监控系统中眼睛状态检测方法

Abstract: To solve the insufficiency of distinguishing the state of eyes in the supervising system for identifying the driver’s fatigue, this paper proposes a fast algorithm for eyes’ state identifying which integrates image processing, complexity, combines projection and geometry feature. The detail of distinguish process is described and the core algorithm is discussed. Tests verifie that this algorithm can be used to distinguish the eyes’ state under complex situation, such as different backgrounds, rotation angle, deflexion. This algorithm has good universal application, fast processing speed, and can solve instances of different ambient brightness and wearing glasses.

摘要: 针对眼睛状态检测在实际疲劳监控系统应用中的缺陷,在定位眉毛和眼睛区域的前提下,结合图像处理、复杂度、混合投影和眼睛的几何特征,提出一种快速的眼睛状态检测方法。给出具体检测步骤和主要算法实现。实验结果表明,该算法可用于不同背景、旋转和偏转角度等多种复杂条件下的眼睛检测,通用性好,处理速度快,并解决了偏光和戴深色边框眼镜的情况。
