Image Retrieval Based on Quadtree and Edge Invariant Moments

基于四叉树和边界不变矩的图像检索

Abstract: In order to use quadtree algorithm widely in scope of image retrieval, the requirements of content-based image retrieval to target object shape are analyzed. An image retrieval based on quadtree and edge invariant moments is proposed. The image retrieval system is set up, in which, five different types of images are tested. Simulation experimental results show this method is simple and effective with low complexity, and the retrieval efficiency is promoted.

摘要: 为使四叉树算法在图像检索领域中得到有效应用,分析基于内容的图像检索对目标物体形状的需求,提出一种基于四叉树和边界不变矩的图像检索方法,构建图像检索系统,并选取5种不同类型的图像进行分组实验。仿真实验结果表明,该方法简单有效、复杂度低,能够提高图像的检索效率。
