Abstract:
This paper presents mixing test flow generating technology as the example of IXP2400 which is a typical multi-core processor, combines the accuracy need of test flow. The technology uses null operating cycle substituting clock provided by processor, receives test time layoff between frame by imposing improved secant method, and applies results to test flow generating. It can control the sending speed of mixing test flow. Experimental result proves that the technology can control the average error of test flow at 0.497 MB/s when line speed within 1 GB/s.

摘要: 以典型多核处理器IXP2400为例,结合测试流量对精确性的需求提出混合测试流量生成技术。该技术用空操作循环替代处理器提供的时钟,利用改进弦截法对测试帧间时延求解,将得到的结果应用于测试流量生成,以控制混合测试流量的发送速率。实验结果证明,该技术在线速1 GB/s内可以将混合的测试流量平均误差控制在0.497 MB/s。
