Abstract:
A new method of image quality assessment based on Structural Similarity(SSIM) and Human Vision System(HVS), called CT-SSIM is proposed. The frequency band property of different direction of Contourlet Transform(CT) is used. It also uses the character of CT coefficient. Theory analysis and experimental results show the CT-SSIM is more accurate and has better correlation with the subjective assessment of human beings. It can assess image quality better.

摘要: 提出一种基于结构相似度及人眼视觉系统的图像质量评价方法——Contourlet变换(CT)域结构相似度,采用Contourlet变换提取图像不同频带不同方向上的信息,该方法利用了Contourlet变换系数的优越特性。理论分析和实验结果表明,该方法具有较高的准确性及良好的相关性,可以更好地评判图像质量。
