Abstract:

Specular reflection regions can cause erroneous results on segmentation and recognition. Leaf image commonly includes natural texture as background which can interfere in the location. This paper proposes a method for the identification of highlights in leaf image that utilizes Retinex algorithm and color matching. The specular reflection regions and diffused reflection regions are obtained based on reflection intensity image, hue and saturation. The specular reflection regions are detected using color matching. Experimental results show that the method is effective.

摘要:

图像中的镜面反射区会造成分割和识别工作的错误。树叶图像的背景中常包含自然纹理信息,干扰镜面反射区的定位。为此,提出一种利用Retinex算法和颜色匹配来定位树叶图像镜面反射区的方法。该方法利用图像的反射分量图以及色调、饱和度等信息得到初始的镜面反射区和漫反射区,利用颜色匹配得到准确的镜面反射区。实验结果表明该方法是有效的。
