Abstract: Due to the node resource constraints in Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks(WMSNs), this paper proposes a Walsh-Hadamard based adaptive distributed image compression algorithm. According to accurate channel state estimating and adaptive quantization table, it ensures image quality to meet the application with a higher compression ratio. Simulation results show that the algorithm can extend the network life cycle in resource-constrained nodes deployed in dense WMSNs.

摘要: 根据无线多媒体传感器网络(WMSNs)中节点资源受限的特点,提出一种自适应的基于Walsh-Hadamard变换的分布式图像压缩算法。基于信道状态的准确估计,自适应调整量化表,在保证图像质量满足应用的前提下,获得更高的压缩比率。仿真结果表明,该算法在资源受限、节点部署密集的WMSNs中,可延长网络的生命周期。
